Steven Meisel is an American fashion photographer, who obtained fame and critical acclaim with his photographs in the American and Italian Vogue, and his images of Madonna in her 1992 book 'Sex'. He is broadly considered one of the most successful fashion photographers in the industry, shooting regularly for Vogue, and lately W. Meisel is notorious for rarely giving interviews or being photographed himself.
