Since the 1960's Nan Goldin has taken powerful personal, spontaneous, sexual, and controversial photographs of her family and people around her. Goldin has had numerous solo exhibitions all over the world. In 2014 Goldin was given the Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Portraiture. She lives and works in New York City, Berlin, and Paris.
