- The mind does not care about yes or no, right or wrong, I can or I can't… the mind has no concern for that. It has but one concern, which is keeping you alive, surviving. Negative thought is a necessary skill of the mind and the ruler of most people’s minds. Because negative, fearful and anxious thoughts keep you far from danger, protecting you. It’s an adaptation from out past, and back then it worked because our ancestors faced very real survival situations daily. However, today, it works the same way it always has.

And today, we only face but a few real survival situations in our lifetime. That is unless you’re among the law enforcers, firepersons or a someone serving their country, and a few other professions. They go in knowing about the true dangers – and for that, I salute you!

However, most people only face symbolic threats like losing their job, being embarrassed, or being "wronged" somehow. And the mind limits you by floating fearful thoughts into our conscious thoughts. Those thoughts are translated into limits, avoidance, and excuses. Because the brain has a survival adaptation called “avoidance”. It rewards your self-imposed limits because you’re surviving, right!?! So it reinforces this avoidance strategy to most areas of your life – so you avoid – you limit – you suffer.

It’s a beautiful lie to keep you safe, don’t be fooled any longer! Don’t let that system call the shots and continue telling you a BULLSHIT story about why can't achieve success. Remember, the mind does not care about yes or no, right or wrong, I can or I can't. It labels what you fear and then avoids it aggressively. The bullshit story has become your life; you’re living your fears. It’s time to start telling a different story, a story that you deserve, a story where you rise, a story where you win!
